Active Framework 2026

Data Governance & Privacy Policy

At NomadNode, we operate high-performance trading networks where data integrity and confidentiality are technical imperatives. This policy outlines how we handle personal information within our distributed systems.

Last Updated: March 17, 2026

1. Scope of Data Collection

NomadNode provides infrastructure for institutional-grade trading networks. Unlike consumer-facing platforms, our data collection is limited to professional identifiers necessary for managing secure systems and low-latency data feeds.

Identifiers We Process:

NomadNode Data Infrastructure

Our physical infrastructure in Brisbane and distributed nodes prioritize the absolute separation of client execution data and administrative metadata.

2. Processing Legitimacy

We process data only when there is a clear contractual or legal basis for doing so. As a provider of critical systems, the "vital interest" clause often applies to the security logging tasks we perform to prevent unauthorized access to trading networks.

Purpose A

Service Continuity

Maintaining consistent uptime and troubleshooting latency spikes within our distributed nodes.

Purpose B

Regulatory Compliance

Ensuring audit trails meet the requirements of financial authorities and Australian privacy laws.

3. Data Retention & Global Transfers

Data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the service requirements or satisfy legal obligations. Operational logs are typically cycled every 90 days, while cryptographic identity records remain active until account termination.

Because we manage a distributed trading network, data may traverse international borders. However, we ensure all cross-border transfers comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and implement standard contractual clauses for any data moving to non-equivalent jurisdictions.

4. Corporate Information Rights

1

Access & Rectification

Request a copy of the metadata we hold regarding your node's performance and administrative users.

2

Data Portability

Export your system configurations and historical uptime reports in standardized formats.

3

Erasure Request

Request the permanent deletion of non-essential account data, subject to regulatory retention mandates.
